The Canadian office is currently seeking applicants who are professional and self-motivated team players with the right combination of skills and experience to fill openings in the role of Bilingual Research Co-ordinator.

Responsibilities:

Research Co-ordinators are responsible for diverse tasks within our Research and Development team including:

  • Coordination of French projects
  • development of try-out and standardization materials in French for achievement, educational, and psychological instruments
  • recruitment and communication with examiners and examinees in French (some in English)
  • reservations of test participants and management of the sample
  • assisting Research Director with development of final test product materials in French including test manuals, stimulus materials and record forms

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology or Education or relevant area. A specialization in school psychology, educational psychology or in measurement and evaluation would be an asset. However, any candidate who has a degree in psychology and/or experience in the education field with experience either in research or in the administration of psychometric tests will be also considered. Candidates with a Bachelor degree who have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the field of psychology and/or psychological measurement will also be considered.
  • Multitask-oriented, flexible, energetic, organized
  • Excellent spoken and written French
  • Proficiency in spoken English
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment as required
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Experience working in a research context and/or conducting assessments on various client groups an asset.
  • Experience editing French language research papers and/or experience with the translation of English to French or French to English an asset.
