Position Responsibilities:

The Assessment Consultant will report to the National Sales Manager of Clinical Assessment and will have the following duties and competencies:

  • Be responsible for a variety of clinical and sales activities across different assessment fields
  • Provide presentations and in-services on a variety of assessment tools
  • Represent Pearson at national and regional conferences
  • Enhance relationships with our valued customers
  • Execute the Territory Sales Plan and achieve sales growth objectives in the assigned area
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to support the customer base and new account growth
  • Conduct account performance analysis and develop strategic plans for increasing customer revenues
  • Introduce new products, programs, and training tools to customers to improve their business model and relationship with Pearson Clinical Assessment
  • Research new account opportunities
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience in clinical assessment and measurement an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to balance administration requirements with field execution
  • Possess business acumen, and a demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service
  • Outstanding communication skills-bilingual French and English an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience with proven expertise in growing and developing a business and territory
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong organizational and team building skills
  • Flexibility for traveling
