Biography

Shelley Ferris received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University. She has over 5 years of research experience where she coordinated a variety of treatment and observational studies in patients with mood disorders. Within this role, she also learned how to administer and interpret a variety of psychological assessments. In addition to research experience, Shelley has also received training in cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She has recently completed a 2-year counselling internship and has worked with clients suffering with mood and anxiety disorders as well as bereavement and terminal illness.
